About penHUN Gallery

Meet the Artist.

Mina is a multidisciplinary artist and designer working across functional art, wall art, furniture, and collectible objects. With a background in industrial design and more than two decades of experience in interior design, project management, production, and creative execution, her work brings together emotional storytelling, bold visual language, and a deep understanding of space, form, and human experience.

Her professional journey began in interior and furniture design and later expanded into large-scale projects, ranging from residential and commercial spaces to entertainment environments, product development, production management, and industrial-scale manufacturing.

Although her career was built through design, management, and production, art had always existed quietly and personally in her life. After experiencing emotional loss, including the loss of her sister, and navigating profound human challenges, painting became a space for silence, healing, and returning to herself, a place where emotions could take shape without the need for words.

This became a turning point in Mina’s journey. She stepped away from dependent structures and began a fully independent and personal artistic path. The result is a body of work in which painting moves beyond the canvas and takes on a tangible presence through furniture, functional objects, wall art, and collectible pieces.

Mina’s work reflects her view of human nature and the hidden layers of emotion. Her characters often feature exaggerated eyes, sometimes accompanied by glasses, symbols of perception, protection, and the desire to see the world more clearly and deeply. The elements emerging from their minds represent thoughts, contradictions, memories, and the inner complexities of human experience.

Her works are created so viewers can recognize parts of themselves within them without needing explanation. They are not simply decorative objects; they are emotional presences designed to be seen, felt, lived with, and remembered.

All of Mina’s works are created as limited editions and presented across functional art, wall art, furniture, and collectible objects.

ART that becomes part of daily LIFE.

  • Description text gpenHUN is a gallery and studio built around the idea that art should be lived with, not placed at a distance. We work at the intersection of fine art, functional design, and everyday life, creating pieces that move fluidly between painting, furniture, and object. Our work is not made to decorate space, but to inhabit it. Everything we do is intentional, limited, and made to hold presence.

  • Our approach is slow, intentional, and personal. We move by choice, not by deadline. We collaborate closely with makers and craftsmen who understand that quality is not only about materials, but about care , about surface, detail, and the patience to get it right. We value consistency over scale, and care over volume. How something is made matters as much as what it becomes.

  • penHUN was formed from a dissatisfaction with separation: art on walls, design in rooms, emotion somewhere else. We believe these boundaries are artificial. Emotion can take form. Art can become functional. Furniture can carry meaning. Our collections are rooted in human experience, shared ages, emotional states, contradictions, joy, restraint, play, and honesty. Each body of work begins with a character, a condition, or a moment in life, and unfolds across different mediums without losing its core intention. text goes here

  • We work in limited editions. Pieces are numbered, signed, and never repeated. This is not about scarcity as a tactic, but about respect, for the work, for the collector, and for the moment in which each piece exists. Once an edition closes, it is closed. Permanence, to us, means making objects that hold their meaning over time. Not ones that are endlessly reproduced.
